Villa Dr. Szontagh is a house with a history, for a long time it was the residence of the Szontagh family - founders of Novy Smokovec. Over the years the villa has been impeccably restored to its present beauty.

Breakfast is served from 07:30 until 09:30.

The main sights and attractions are within a short walk or drive. There are many national parks in the vicinity as well as caves. Poprad is 10 km away, historic Levoca, the UNESCO protected Spis Castle, which is the one of the largest in central Europe and the well-preserved picturesque villages of Zdiar and Vlkolinec are within easy reach.

Thermal water swimming pools operate all the year round such as those in Poprad, Besenova and Tatralandia Liptovsky Mikulas. The area is popular with golfers and skiers; there are resorts for all levels and magnificent off-piste skiing areas.

The guesthouse is situated in Novy Smokovec, the central part of the High Tatra Mountains, only 10 km from the town of Poprad and Tatry Poprad airport (TAT). There is a local train connecting Poprad with the High Tatras which stops in Novy Smokovec (TEŽ), or a bus to Stary Smokovec which is only 5 minutes walk from the villa. Connecting flights are available to Prague, London and many other locations.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
