This self-contained holiday complex features accommodation in superb apartments and bungalows, and is ideal for a family getaway or a relaxing holiday break.
Some of the distinguishing features that make this resort so unique include are its tidal lagoon-style, private, sandy beach curves in a semi-circle and shelves gently and safely, perfect for even the youngest child’s enjoyment and that there are no roads to cross – once checked in at reception.
The resort has its own private access to the illuminated promenade, so you can walk along the seacoast into bustling Costa Teguise without ever having to cross a road.

Sands Beach Resort has a range of different types of accommodation at the complex, located around any one of 6 plazas - all of which are built around their own gently shelving swimming and paddling pools.
The resort’s entertainment team provides a full entertainment programme covering both daytime and nightime activities.
For those more interested in relaxation, the resort offers a modern health and fitness centre, where experienced and qualified physiotherapists offer a variety of massages and body treatments (additional charges apply). There are also daily stretch and body shaping classes. Paradise Island also has a stunning heated swimming pool with a spectacular waterfall feature and a jacuzzi.
For children there is a Kids' Club supervised by qualified personnel, where games and activities are organised, such as treasure hunts, crafts, face painting, and costume parties, where kids create their own disguises, etc. A tennis court, games room, and playground is also available.
The resort offers 368 units, including 40 studios, 289 one-bedroom apartments (72 of which are junior apartments), and 35 2-bedroom apartments.
All the units have been carefully appointed with designer-selected and colour co-ordinated suites and handcrafted natural wood furniture, All have the necessary facilities for guests’ comfort and pleasure.
All of the units have their own terrace, complete with recliner and outdoor furniture for al fresco dining, and are decorated in a traditional rustic style (natural wood finishes).
Food & beverage
The resort boasts its own buffet restaurant, La Hacienda, which serves a wide range of international meals.
The Mai Tai Pool Bar & Restaurant is situated in the Paradise Island Complex, accessed via a bridge over the private lagoon. The bar and restaurant offers snacks and barbecues.
Soleil Bar is a lounge bar located by the lobby, offering a wide range of local and imported drinks, as well as cocktails, accompanied by sports, quiz nights and karaoke.
Perfectly located in the south-eastern coast of Lanzarote, - awarded by the UNESCO in 1993 as “Biosphere Reserve”- , this is a beach front resort just a few steps away from Las Cucharas Beach in Costa Teguise.
It enjoys a privileged location, about 15 minutes drive from Arrecife aiport, and within easy access to major tourist centres and monuments such as “Jameos del Agua”, “Cueva de los Verdes”, “Jardin de Cactus”, or “Mirador del Rio”.
By Car (from Lanzarote’s Arrecife Airport):
The hotel is approximately 15 km from Arrecife Airport.
- From the airport, head towards Arrecife and keep on the dual carriageway for about 3 km.
- Keep following signs for Circunvalacion.
- Then take the left turn, following signs for Lanzarote Oeste / Norte.
- Stay on this road and take the 3rd left to Costa Teguise.
- Once on the dual carriageway towards the town of Costa Teguise, pass the Barceló Suites on the right and the Playa Verde Hotel (also on the right).
- Then go straight across the small roundabout, and just after the roundabout, take the right fork.
- Across the next roundabout, take the first left, signposted Gran Hotel Melia Salinas, and continue on this road for approx 1 km until you see the Sands Beach Resort on the right.
The payment will be done at the moment of the arrival.
Time for checking in is at 17:00 hours. If you are arriving before that time, please, contact us and we will do all our best.

Cancellation
If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
