Brand new and exceptionally well-equipped, our professional Beauty and Wellness centre offers quality facilities and a variety of ways to relax and be pampered. Enjoy a workout in our fitness area, choose from an indoor or outdoor pool and drift away in the sauna complex and Turkish steam bath.

On the 9th of May 2008, our newest restaurant, Het Trechterbekerhuis, and our children’s playground, Oek, will be opened. Here children can enjoy hours of playing and even be entertained by an animation team during the school holidays.

The rooms are decorated in a stylish, contemporary way and offer a view of the back of the park or the drive of the residence

Equipped with standard facilities including 2 single beds, an LCD TV and Nespresso coffee and tea facilities, all of the rooms have been furnished with your comfort in mind.

A tasty breakfast buffet is served from Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 10:00 in the Rembrandt Hall. On weekends, breakfast is served between 07:30 and 10:30.

Enjoy a selection of the many fine dishes our Chef has to offer. The à la carte restaurant, Hunzebergen, is open for lunch between 12:00 and 16:00 and for dinner between 17:00 and 21:30. Weather permitting; dinner is also served on our beautiful terrace.

Feel free to make use of our room service, 24 hours a day. Our bar is the place to be for a lighter snack, drinks and a round of bowling.

The lovely landscape in the area varies from forest to arable land, stretching all the way to the German border, and offers endless possibilities for hiking, cycling or horse riding.
The estate connects to the Hunzebos (woods) and the town of Odoorn is a short walk away via the heath fields.
Visit the picturesque museum village of Orvelte or go to a demonstration of the glass factory in Borger. The traffic amusement park or the TT circuit in Assen are also popular attractions to visit. On rainy days the covered amusement park in the vicinity of Beilen, Speelstad Oranje, will guarantee a fun day out with the children. Furthermore there is the Emmen Zoo, renowned for having the most beautiful animal and butterfly garden of Europe, with Patagonia in the spot light.

During your cycling and car tours you will encounter a number of historical villages and interesting sights:
- The watchtower Poolshoogte has a long history and a cosy restaurant for a cup of coffee or a small dinner.
- Fishing is of course possible in one of the many canals. If you prefer fishing for trout you can go to the trout farm in Valthermond.
- Sheep flock in Exloo.
- Megalithic tomb museum in Borger.
- Peat museum

Coming from the north of Holland from Groningen, take the N34 towards Emmen.
Coming from all other directions from the Netherlands, take the N34 Groningen towards Emmen.

- On the N34 take the exit Valthe/Klijndijk/Musselkanaal/Odoorn.
- Turn left after about 200 meters.
- Turn right at the first roundabout in Klijndijk.
- Go straight ahead at the next roundabout, and turn left at the next roundabout towards Exloo.
- After about 1.7 kilometers you will see the entrance of Landgoed Hunzebergen on your left hand side.

On Sunday we offer our guests a Lazy Sunday, you can make use of the room and the facilities of the hotel till 5PM for only EUR 25.00 per room.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
