“Le Picchiaie” is a park in the heart of the isle of Elba, on the top of a hill overlooking the Gulf of Portoferraio.
The verdant nature sets up the frame of a unique panorama: the vibrant blue of the sea and the Tuscan coast stretching far along the horizon, complemented by the presence of the Volterraio Castle, witness of over eight centuries of history.
The hills and heights all around Le Picchiaie are covered by Mediterranean vegetation, such as pine trees, oaks and secular cork oaks, together with scented broom, briers, wild lavender, rosemary and rare wild orchids.
The hills surrounding the Relais reveal paths concealed in a natural environment with astonishing panoramic vistas of all the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, up to Corsica. It is a true oasis of peace, where guests can choose among relaxing walks under the woodland shade, mountain bike trips or horse-riding.
Cancellation
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
