The Marlborough Hotel is located just a few minutes' walk from the beach, Shanklin Old Village and the main shopping area.

Bedrooms are stylish decorated, all offering modern amenities and en suite facilities. Our hotel offers excellent comfort, friendly service and good value for money. The fully licensed bar and restaurant serves a variety of home cooking with regular live evening entertainment including bingo and karaoke. In the cosy hotel lounge you will find a pool table, various table games, darts and Sky TV. If you prefer the outdoors, then there is a pleasant garden where you can relax and soak up the sun.

With a large car and coach park on-site, finding a parking space is not a problem. Our friendly staff are fluent in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish and Russian. Shanklin is situated on the South Coast of the Island, making it ideal for both the leisure and business traveller. It has a fine sandy beach and a charming old village with picturesque thatched cottages, craft shops, pubs and restaurants. The well renowned Shanklin Chine, where cascading water falls over 100 feet, is just a few minutes walk from the hotel .

From Central London:
- Take the A3 for Portsmouth then M275 to the ferry terminal Isle of Wight, which will sail to Fishbourne (IOW).
- Take the A3054 for Ryde and follow this route to Sandown, then to Shanklin (A3055).
- When reaching Shanklin, you will see signposts for Ventnor (A3055). Follow this road which is Queens Road for about 2 minutes and you will see the Hotel on the right hand side (large car park).
- Our hotel is also located within walking distance from the high street, Regent Street and the East Cliff promenade.

From London towards Southampton:
- Take M3 and follow signs for Southampton Docks M27 (M271) Red Funnel Ferry - Isle of Wight, ferry gate 7.
- When arriving in East Cowes IOW take the A3021 for Whippingham then the A3054 for Newport until signposts for Godshill A3020. This route will take you to Shanklin and we are just a few minutes from Shanklin Old Village. If you get lost, just give us a call.

There is also a train service to Shanklin from London Waterloo via Portsmouth Harbour.

If you are planning to arrive any later than 21:00, please inform the hotel.

Any cancellations are required to be done online. A cancellation reference number will be provided to confirm that the booking has been cancelled.

All payments made by credit or debit card will be subjected to 2.0% surcharge.

Our car park can accommodate approximately 13 cars and is allocated on a 1st come 1st serve basis. For coach parking, please contact the hotel.

Under the new law, smoking is prohibited inside the hotel. Any guests wishing to light up can still smoke outside in the garden.

During winter, some of the hotel facilities will be closed or have limited opening times.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
