Our thatched mansion hotel is uniquely situated at the Herikerberg amidst hundreds of hectares of woodland. Boundless cycling and hiking area. The hotel has been tastefully decorated and breathes the atmosphere of the English countryside. The Herikerberg comprises a splendid kitchen.

Besides the 30 hotel rooms and a cosy a la carte restaurant the hotel disposes of two comfortable furnished meeting rooms.
The hotel is suitable for trainings and meetings up to 30 persons.

The 'Heerenkamer' is a tranquil boardroom decorated in English style with a surface of 65m2. A fixed arrangement is placed hier for a maximum of 14 persons. Many intensive sessions have taken place here where privacy is guaranteed.

The ' Tuynzaal ' with its private terrace is perfectly suitable for meetings from 15 to 50 persons, based on the arrangement of the room.

Both rooms dispose of internet connection and all other desired equipment can be arranged.
Both rooms are also perfect for a gastronomic dinner of buffet.

The rooms and bathrooms are spaciously decorated. All rooms dispose of a spacious bathroom including a bath, separate shower, toilet and hairdryer.

All rooms are equipped with a work desk with internet connection, which is free of use. The lounge disposes over wireless internet, which is also free of use.

Furthermore you can find a telephone, radio television, wake up service and a free to use safe in all the rooms, just as you would expect of a 4 star hotel.

The hotel has a comfortably decorated à la carte restaurant, which offers an elaborate seasonal menu as well as a daily menu for hotel guests.

Markelo is easy reachable from all directions. From Apeldoorn it is about a 25 minute drive. Follow the A - 1 towards Hengelo. After Deventer take exit 27 (Markelo).
After you have arrived in Markelo, follow the signs towards Goor. After around 1,5 km, you will see the hotel on you right hand side.

Children as from 6 years of age are welcome.
There are no special rates for children.

The hotel is of the opinion that it is not suitable for children below the age of 6 years and therefor it does not take any reservations which includes children below 6 years old.

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 15 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 85 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children older than 6 years are welcome.
Extra beds are not available.
Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 2.
