The hotel was built in 1982 in the picturesque village of Schiermonnikoog. In the last 7 years all of the rooms and the restaurant have been renovated.
Hotel de Tjattel is a ** Hotel in the center of the village on the island Schiermonnikoog.
We rent 15 double rooms, 3 downstairs, 12 at the 1st floor.
The rooms are provide with a shower and toilet, and Wireless internet.
We are open the whole year. Feel welcome on our island and in the Tjattel.
Food & beverage
Enjoy a warm welcome in the restaurant that serves a large choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. It is open for lunch from 12:00 to 15:00 and for dinner from 16:30 to 21:00.
In the bar and sunny terrace there is a mixture of guests and residents and you can enjoy nice coffees and many other drinks.
The hotel situated in the the centre of the only village on the beautiful island Schiermonnikoog. The island is a National Park and its beautiful nature, large beach, and many facilities mean that your visit here will be comfortable.
By Boat and Bus:
- The only way to travel to Schiermonnikoog is by boat, which departs from Lauwersoog.
- On the island take the Arriva bus titled Centrum Hotels Langestreek Tjattel that will bring you to the hotel. For further information and timetables please contact the hotel.
