The Sport Hotel offers the comfort and high quality services of a 4-star hotel.

The hotel features 86 rooms and 2 suites. At the nearby tennis centre guests can enjoy a sauna and the massage pool free of charge. Internet access is available at the reception. There is also a seminar hall, an aperitif bar and a casino in the hotel.

Guests and visitors can enjoy the ambience and delights of the Otočec Restaurant, which offers top quality cuisine, local specialities, and an extensive wine list. The hotel and nearby castle is also the perfect setting for special events such as weddings, civil ceremonies, parties, anniversaries, special events and themed parties. A romantic dinner served by staff in medieval clothes in old Castle Restaurant could be something you will never forget. The hotel is also an impressive setting for business meetings. All rooms are en suite and have a hair dryer, satellite TV, telephone, radio, a mini bar and a balcony or a terrace.

The Sport hotel lies in the beautiful region of Dolenjska - the green heart of Slovenia - famed for its beautiful rivers, valleys, pastures, forests and vineyards, and is situated close to the town of Novo Mesto and its nearby sister hotel at Šmarješke Toplice.

Otočec is an ideal starting point for excursions. We enjoy taking guests to nearby vineyard cottages, where they meet all the splendor of the finest Cviček wine and homemade foods. We also happily take them to the nearby Šmarješke Toplice Spa, where they can bathe in the healing thermal water.

Otočec is half way between Ljubljana and Zagreb and 7 kilometres away from the center of Dolenjska, Novo mesto. Only a slightly greater distance separates us from the ancient Pleterje Carthusian Monastery and Kostanjevica, called also the Venice of Dolenjska, as well as from Krško, Brežice or Bela krajina across Gorjanci. Thus, the Dolenjska region lies at the disposal of the guests of the Otočec Hotel.

From Ljubljana Airport (Brnik) to Novo Mesto:
- From the airport turn left on the local road.
- At the 1st crossroads turn left again and you will come on the highway E63.
- Head in the direction of Ljubljana.
- From Ljubljana head in the direction of Zagreb (highway E70). Otočec is in the same direction.
- After 70 km you will come to the exit for Otočec.

By Bus/ Train:
The nearest bus or railway station is in Novo Mesto. It is best is to take a taxi to Otočec, which costs approximately EUR 20.

Otočec offers sporting and recreational facilities for those who are more athletically inclined. There is a modern sports-recreational center, the central part of which is a hall with three indoor tennis courts supplemented by six outdoor tennis courts and a multipurpose basketball, handball and volleyball court. The Center also has a tennis school for beginners or those who want to improve their game. The instructors hold international licenses and classes can be organized for groups or individuals.

The Tennis Center includes also saunas, a fitness studio, a tanning bed, manual massage premises, table tennis and bistro.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged 90 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
