Hotel Spoorzicht is located in Loppersum, just a 20 minutes drive from the city Groningen and quite near Delfzijl and the Eemshaven. The hotel is located in a historic building which is very charming. A lot of nostalgic elements are still present and the building is nominated
for the Dutch monument list. Free parking facilities available. All rooms have a private shower and toilet. The hotel has a good restaurant.

Our hotel is situated in a block of buildings behind the restaurant. Here, 15 rooms are situated, all equipped with shower and toilet. The main building comprises another 6 modern rooms equipped with shower, toilet, tv, telephone and 1 room with bath. Hotel Spoorzicht is located in a green area and disposes of a nice sitting area for our guests. We have our own parking lot, so finding a place to park your car is never a problem. Naturally Hotel-Restaurant 'Spoorzicht' is open all week.

Hotel Restaurant 'Spoorzicht' comprises of various rooms for larger as well as smaller companies. Our total accommodation is suitable for about 500 guests. Our 'De Doorrit'-room is one of the bigger rooms and is, in comination with the skittle centre, perfectly fit for staff days out, weddings, etc.; theatre facilities and a bar are also available. Large groups and companies can also use the accommodation for dinners, at special, attractive rates. Our spacious, modern toilets are easily accessible from the rooms.

In the main building you will find the residence rooms. The residence rooms really contributes to the nostalgic presence of the main building.
The view on the old trainstation road makes it even more special.

The hallway, where you can find our giftshop and the computer that is available for our guests for free, is the connection between the monumental and nostalgic main building and the new wing of the hotel. In our new wing the rooms are decorated in a modern way, with feng-shui and colors as its foundation. Every room has its own color and style. All the bathrooms are contemporary black and white.

We work as much as possible with daily fresh products. We prepare all the food in our kitchen, for example soups, sauces and chocolates. We serve surprising dishes every day, but also traditional meals like rib eye from the grill and home made French fries.

Spoorzicht is an excellent base of operations for exploring the surroundings by bike or car. Discover the pretty landscapes of the province of Groningen with its striking farms and pretty churches or visit the cheerful and cosy cities and villages surrounding Loppersum, like Delfzijl with its harbour, where you can see a lot of sea-going vessels coming in. A trip along the wadden (West-Frisian islands) is also a tremendous and unique experience. In our private parking there always is a place available for your car. Naturally Hotel-Restaurant 'Spoorzicht' is opened throughout the week.

If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 15 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 85 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome.
All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 35.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
